This painting represents my journey of becoming who I am meant to be through God. Painting this piece was an act of obedience after God called me to paint again after almost a year away from creating. For me, this painting marked the beginning of an active commitment to God after coming to know Him for the first time in my life. The blue side represents who I was before knowing God, while the red side — the direction my name is moving toward — represents the person God is continually building me to become: a version greater than anything I could have imagined when all I knew was the world around me. This painting serves as a reminder that God is constantly working through us. When we surrender ourselves to Him and commit to walking in His purpose, we begin to become the fullest versions of who we were created to be.
